Irregular clunking/knocking sound - GT-R 2011
Hi all,
I am Limor, this is the first time i write a message in the forum and already have some questions
I read some of the posts and found a lot of usefull information so thanks for sharing and i am looking forward to your help in this matter below.
When I am moving off in my GTR from stationary, foreward or to the rear, I hear a single, irregular clunking/knocking sound from the all-wheel drive system at the rear of the car. It is almost as if the teeth of the gears have fallen out of alignment. This doesn't happen all the time, only when moving the car from cold the first few inches only, after it has been standing for a few hours in an outside temperature of approximately 40-45°F or below.
Have any other GTR drivers experienced this? If so, I would be most grateful to receive further information/advice as to the cause of the problem and its cure!
