they should have kept this instead!

I think they should have kept this concept model instead of the one they have now. I've had this picture since 2000. I was hoping it would be this model but oh well cant win them all.

i like that, i'm inclined to agree with you. i guess you could argue it is too similar to the r34

I kind of like it to. It would have kept the traditional look in a more updated platform. the only thing I'm not crazy about is the dramatic slope down on the side panels....Looks a little like a Honda 2dr coupe.....Just a little.

Just my 2 cents

That picture looks like they tried to combine a r34 with a SLK, it looks alright but doesn't look original, i like the new design because nothing else looks like it.

ya but the R34 was the best looking Skyline they've ever released.l I like it alot.

i like the new design that will be released to the public for sale much better.

the one pictured here is not bad, as it is a continuation of the R34 look, but is a bit watered-down from that prior design. so i would better have the new GT-R as it carries the old cues from the GT-R but introduces a new direction, keeping the GT-R heritage intact.
