here is a video from todays Solo Sprint Competition at Race City.

This is my first time on this course, so, I still have a lot to learn on finding faster lines through the track.

I will post more as we go through this series, and as we tune the car more.

allthough, the pads sure didn't last. 20 ish laps and they are toast.

 

I was afraid of this...so have you looked into any track pads yet? Are they even available yet?

 

Although, I bet that if you get high temp track pads on the GTR then the bronze brembo caliper paint will get burnt to a brown color like the calipers on my STi. I wonder if this will then cause warranty issues...

 

How long do you have the car? And how long ago did it come out in Canada?

the car isn't mine, I am just the driver.

which is sure fun.

as to pads, my crew is having a very difficult time finding them. for now they are re-fabricating HP+ pads to start, I believe from a 350Z big brake kit, or something similar. We did get track specific rotors and rear pads from somewhere, I will try to find out for you. If we can't find it, we just build it, and we are back on the track this Sunday with that car. But I think we will just get them strait from Japan for the following race.

oh, and this car just got to Canada very recently, I think 4 weeks ago or so, maybe 5.

 

So maybe there is a chance for the car to come in the states some time mid to late June don't you think.

 

I don't know, I heard a rumor (only that) that the states were stopping it for some reason, that is why it isn't there yet, however, I also heard that it would be there for the Spring.... so I don't know.

maybe someone at your local dealer would know more?
