thanks. and yes, motor and tranny are located and pending installation/tuning. as are all other parts necessary to finish her. i had already bought some parts 2 years ago, as well, so now i can actually use them. i cannot explain the feeling

you're on, buddy. i'd be glad to meet you in person. i'm happy, too, that we're both in socal. and relatively near. it'd take about just under an hour to get to your place from NOHO. maybe 45-50mn if traffic permits.
you drive an Evo, right? i have a VR-4 Galant. elder cousin of your car. same 4G63 under the hood.

some more. disregard the ugly rollaround wheels. i have mint OEM R32 GT-R wheels i got 2 years ago. will wait to put those on last. car arrived as a shell only. no wheels or underchassis. didn't much look like a GT-R. slowly, we're putting the parts on, steam-cleaning everything before assembly.
we robbed a junked S13 of some fastners, as well. they're exactly the same as GT-R fasteners for most sheet metal and panels.

thanks! it's a great feeling to have a GTR, finally. now the long road to building her.
i'm gonna go HKS 2530s. top her out at 500hp. that will be plenty for the street/track.
i want to keep her mostly stock looking. may go Work Emotion bronze or LMGT4 bronze w/clears. but that's about it.
you're in san clemente. when you getting the R32? we ought to stay in touch.

I'm looking at a few right now but they're fixer uppers. When my friend gets back from Japan I'm gonna look at his and make a decision. There are quite a few in the LA/OC area for sale right now but they're not pristine or anything. I'm just looking for something clean that I can romp on without worrying about it breaking right away. The lmgt4 is always a classic that you can't go wrong on. I personally like workmeisters or advan kruezer v. Anything that is a good offset. As for upgrades I'm looking at doing mostly suspension and aero first and then I'll work on engine mods. I'm in good with power enterprise so I'll probably go with some of their mods. If you wanna hook up sometime check out my website and call the second number on the contact area. I've been so busy lately I haven't been checking out forums or anything. Nice to make your aquaintance.
