If you have the factory cruise control, you'll have quickly noticed that the max cruise speed is around 65MPH/105KPH, but there is a fix for this! Grab a cruise control unit off another car! I'm in the US, so I got one from an s13, specifically a USDM 240SX. The 240SX box has slightly different mounting points, so I only mounted mine with one bolt. The replacement CCU performed exactly the same as the stock CCU, except there was no max cruise speed limit; at least not any up to a tested 90 MPH.

When I tried searching for a solution on this issue, I couldn't find anyone talking about it. I decided to take a chance on finding a CCU from a USDM Nissan car, because I knew none of those had any kind of speed limiter on them and some of the skyline parts were shared on 240SX as well as 300ZX cars, so I started my search with those cars. I had a hard time finding pictures of the connector from any of the potential replacement cars, but eventually I found an ebay listing. The plug was upside down, but otherwise looked the same and for only $12, it was hard to pass up.

The CCU is located under the driver side kick panel and attached to the firewall behind the throttle pedal.

In the pictures below, the left box is from the 240SX and the right box is the original from the skyline. This particular skyline is a 1989 GTS-t sedan.
