Does your car sound like a piece of junk when you close the doors? Does it make a rattly, metal on metal sound? Maybe it's your door strikers. They're supposed to have a rubber casing on the part the door latches on to, but after 30 years and who knows how many open/close cycles, the rubbers deteriorated if not completely fallen off!
Fortunately, this part is still available new from japan and at a fairly reasonable price. It's made my doors close much smoother, quieter and easier.
