New to R32s

Theres a small possibility that I might be getting an R32. Its already here in Fl. and registered to someone else. Now when they transfer the title to me I have to register it under my name. I was just wondering approx. how much it would cost to register it. And any other fees that may apply. Thanks.

-Casey

P.S. - It already has a U.S. title.

so the car is already US-legal and is registered to another? in that case, it'd just be the normal transfer fee, right? whatever it is for your state.

If I was a betting man, the car is only titled for Florida.

...and if the car is from out of state, out of FL, then there is going to be hell to pay. or, rather, no dice. maybe...

you can own one, but not necessarily ever legally drive it on public roads. you can have it imported as a rolling chassis, and then import the other parts in a seperate shipment. it can be done. just buy a trailer and a truck to haul it around.

hmm it cant be shipped as a whole huh.the trailering part is not bad but having it brought over here in pieces sounds really interesting.

and NEVER import it to socal. and it MUST be imported by the orginal import company as a "project vehicle." same as a kit car status. this way, at some point, it maybe can be streeted. otherwise, it must be "sent back" as a temp vechicle if kept "together." you MUST dismantle it. i guarantee you this 700%. believe what i say. i did it.
