Yes to tire replacement, no to aftermarket wheels

It would appear that due to the positioning on the tire pressure sensor, it is not yet possible to put on aftermarket wheels on a GTR. Mines was able to change out the tires (at high expense). More interesting info about the japanese market GTR's modifiability in this mototrend article

i understand nissan trying to keep people out of the ECU, at the same time, they know that people will crack it, so why not make it more open source?

i've always wondered if it was illegal to hack ecu's? or if it ever has been on any cars? i guess that it just voids the warrenty and that's either a deterent or not, depending on the consumer

i guess it makes sense wanting to keep something that has been in development for so long unadulterated at least for a little while

at the same time, nissan isn't dumb, they know that amount of modifications that will be done to this car
