With its specs it should be in the 7:10 to >7:20 range

again, this video is of a GM EXECUTIVE driving the car.

they didnt use a proffessional driver because they aim to squeeze out a better time AFTER the GTR-V's times are released.

this 'ring competition is pretty cool, i like that it's forcing car companies to really work on engineering for performance

its beyond the era of look good, go fast straight, its about corners, looks, straight line accel, price tag

the game is the same, but they players are allowed preseason.

I agree with you, the competition of the horse power wars is at its peak, and as a result we have some of the best performing cars in the history of automobiles.

in the video, have you guys notice the time starts after he passes pit lane instead of the start/finish

You think the ZR1's time was cheated? Im leaning on that because thats atleast a full second or two of track thats untimed. As a matter of a fact at the end of the video it stops after the car rounds the corner. I'd say thats atleast a full 100 if not 150ft of track.

Yet, I really don't know where the GT-R and V-Specs times started and ended.

better yet you go watch the video, first off the GTR Starts a full second before the ZR1, well thats settled, now the ZR1 time ends before he crosses the spot it started, it took the GTR one second to fill that gap. So Truely the ZR1's time is 7:27.4 just 2 seconds faster then our base car the GTR, GTR MSRP 71K, ZR1 MSRP 100K+ Now thats Settled,The Vspec Comes in here, a 7:25 is pulled, now with my corrected time that 2 seconds faster then the ZR1 and 4 Seconds Faster then the Base GTR, Do you math kid, it helps with your middle school test.

BTW, Jim Mero. Hes a C6R tester. he may not race but he knows how to handle a car like a race driver.

Garage 419's Video as they pass under the Bridge on the long straight stop the video as soon as the shadow of the bridge shows through the window.

This is going by garage 419's time

ZR1-7:06.1
GTR-7:08.2
