Just finished first mods: Volk GT30 Phantom wheels 20 x 9.5 F, 20 x 10.5 R, clear corners, smoked tail lights, Eibach springs.

Coming soon: Toyo R888 rubber, custom fabricated exhaust (stainless), JRZ coilovers, Haltech engine management, bigger turbos, and a bunch of carbon fiber! I am also going to have a stronger 1st gear fabricated.

Car looks fantastic but I was on a GT-R ride and drive and the Nissan engineering rep was adamant that the wheels should not be replaced with aftermarket units. Probably more warranty type BS but he did mention that because of the car's weight and its cornering/dynamic capabilities that you have to be damn sure the wheels are up to the loads. Are these forged?

The wheels on my car are the exact same size as the stock wheels, and are made by the same company Rays Engineering. They are specifically made for the GTR, just a little less weight and different style.

The information you have is correct though, you wouldn't want to put a cheap set of wheels with the wrong offset, or size on the car as it would alter the handling characteristics negatively.

Cool. They look like they are probably lighter too.

Now if only someone would make a mod to improve the ride quality...Toronto roads suck!

they suck in LA too, if you drive in comfort mode it makes a difference, but its still pretty rough on the street. going with a good coilover kit ( KW, or JRZ ) and taking most of the compression and rebound out should make it ride much nicer than the stock dampers. all in all, it is a daily driver and works fine for me. my M5 has been sitting in my garage for months collecting dust, and I am actually considering selling it now.
