Passing Emission Inspection with a 2017 R35
Hey Men..I realized this may have be discussed at different points and section, but I am having problems getting 2 monitor to go Ready (Catalyst & EVAP) on my 2017.
Originally when I installed the Flex kits, we installed Bosch 1100cc injectors keeping the OEM catted DP. We installed an SBD intake and Super Racing Exhaust. I was able to pass inspection first shot after the install. Recently, those injectors and plugs failed as a result of the E85 corrosive nature and not driving the car much. I upgraded to 1300cc ID and had my tuner (MAF Tune) adjust it for the larger injectors. Driving the car now for over 200 miles and those 2 monitors continue to be in a "Not Ready" state. Here in GA, I can have 1 monitor that is not ready to pass the Emission Inspection.
Rumor has it that the 2017 R35 with 1300cc injectors have issues passing emissions. Any suggestions short of removing the 1300's and replacing them with 1100's.
