What do you all think of the Z tune? Ive seen some really good GTR's in my life, but never one like the Z tune in anyway.

yeah, thats a bit old news now. but it is a great lead-in to the 07GTR; a teaser of things to come, perhaps. the z-tune BNR34 catapults that chassis variant into rock-solid exotic-car
status.

also, i think nissan/ nismo wanted to fill the gap between GTR generations, to keep the followers of the car just that bit more tantalized while they "wait." and it makes a statement about nissan in general: that being, it is a serious contender with porsche, on and off the track. it is clear, as well, that nismo intentionally and directly singled-out porsche as the company to humiliate, continuing the ongoing rivalry as the "porsche eater."

i cannot imagine the torque of the z-tune, coming from a standstill at a traffic light. it must feel overwhelming and intoxicating. and the sound of the engine and exhaust must be like sweet thunder.

the z-tune is supposed to have over 500bhp and can do 0-400m faster than any production car ever including the maclaren f1 car
