Back in high school a friend of mine had the opportunity to go the the JGTC round held at California Speedway. He said all the cars were awesome, but the Calsonic R34 GT-R was blinding compared to everyone else down the straights.

From what I understand it did not generate the revenue and viewers that they had hoped to make from the trip. That and the teams had a bit of difficulty with the travel. They were hoping for much more from the venue.
