Gt-r Rwd Awd?

so I've noticed that a real GT-R should be a AWD car, but seeing cars on youtube and what-not that are RWD, anyone want to inform me what a true GT-R is?

ok so far 24 people has read this and not one person knows if a real GT-R is RWD or AWD or what the deal is? becuase I have seen GT-R's as both, I am pretty sure it's the r34 that has a computer that you can change from RWD to AWD but I highly doubt the r32 does, so what's the deal with it? does anyone have any information?

I'm pretty sure all GTR are AWD, the RWD Skylines are the GT-S model.

it's weird, I was thinking the same thing but I've seen some RWD RB26DETT's, is it just really popular to do that swap?

I guess you didn't read the last post... or any, I know that "all" GTR's are AWD, and I know that all Nissan Skyline r32's have the RB26DETT are the GTR, but then how have I seen a RB26DETT doing a burnout? I heard that you can just remove a fust and your AWD GTR turns into a RWD... ever hear of anything like that? so far the only replies were "the only AWD skyline is a GTR" so thanks for that but could I get some new information please? personal experience

The fuse method will work to disable the ATESSA system and make the car just RWD, but it is not a good thing to do. GRID makes a controller that will electronically allow you to over-ride the torque split to make the R32 - R34 a RWD only vehicle. Ihave also "heard" of some people taking the fuse out, hooking up a small toggle switch inits place and being able to turn the ATESSA system on and off at will.
