So is this a to do list on the upcoming GT-R?? I'm new to the forum, so bear with me! ;)
|
mmm. not really.
it's for any car you've got that's older and needs some more "pep." the newest GTR to come will be self-contained. yes, it will be modded by others, by tuner shops, certainly. but the new GTR will be on the level of a Porsche 997. and very few owners of those cars "mod" them much. they don't really need to :smilie_th |
I'm sure with an intake, exhaust, and ECU tune you can raise the boost and get some great hp gains with the new GT-R.
|
^^^yes absolutely. all modification techniques and gains of the past still apply. and it will void the warranty.
if you don't hold that important, then sure. you can do as you suggest. simply remapping the ECU and raising the boost alone will add a good bit. |
Mine will go directly to AMS performace ( supporting vendor ) and we will begin to showcase mods one at a time and and what benfits and hp gains etc we get out of them so the GT-R will be a on going project car...and I beleive a very fast one.:D

I'm curious by how much the prices will be jacked up comparing to the other manufacturers. I guess we will find out in about 1-2 years. :)

One mod that is often overlooked is Brakes. Atleast upgrade the brake pads on your gtr.
Another thing to note is that before you start any modifications, make sure that all maintenance is done, and that the car is in as new running condition |
