I hate dealerships.
I decided to go in to the local Nissan dealership and see what they would tell me to my face. The GM now says that he does not know what they are going to do about the pricing. He now states that he will be getting 4-5 GTR's. I asked what price he would commit to if I gave him a $10,000 deposit right now, and he said he would not commit to a price at this time. A little different than what I was told on the phone.
I decided to go in to the local Nissan dealership and see what they would tell me to my face. The GM now says that he does not know what they are going to do about the pricing. Don't be to shocked guys the Stealerships did the same thing with the Corvete Z06 when it came out in 06. I was on like 3 different lists in various states and I was not willing to pay over MSRP at the time....so one by one I got taken off of the lists. I finally found a honest dealer right in my home town that got me a 07 for MSRP and at that time they were going for anywhere between 5k and 20k over.
I have a signed "Notorized Signed Agreement for MSRP" with my Nissan dealer for a GT-R. I also put my deposit down ( $500.00 almost a year ago.
I learned my lession with the Z06.
Update from my dealer! They are honoring my deal! They have to or they'll have a lawsuit on their hands and they know that! So anyway I asked him how many cars they will get and he said 3 GT-R's. Their current list has 8 people behind me and they all put 1k down and are at an agreed " Dealer Market Ajustment price" so I think this will be a common problem for most people this year especially in high profile markets like most of CAL NYC, FLA etc.
BTW he said they will be placing orders at the end of March early April and expect cars to show up in late June early July.

I was just told a guy offered $105K to one of these dealers.
Neither one will take a deposit right now stating that Nissan hasn't released the price to them yet. Funny how it is published all over the web but the dealers don't have anything "official".
Ken Garff believes they will be getting 3 and believes they'll be getting possibly around $125k for them. YIKES!!!
Keep in mind I never saw anything that proves they are "Offically" a GTR dealer. But it did come from their management that they are getting them. So take it for what it's worth. But if I were a betting man, Ken Garff is telling the truth cause they were the ONLY Porsche dealer to take on the Carrera GT program and that I believe cost more money to obtain than the GTR program.
Well off to finding more dealers locally. I'm hoping there aren't any greedy ones out there cause I would love to give someone a deposit ASAP! I will post more info If I get any but will only post the dealer selling them at or close to MSRP AFTER I have left a deposit!
Anyway I thought I would add to the list...
