Turbo Upgrade.

Who have upgraded their turbos?

Rb Motoring recomends:http://www.rbmotoring.com/
Turbo - Need to go to a full metal turbo. HKS GT series are good turbos. We have also run Apex'i AX series turbos. The 2530's are the way to go with the small GT series. We switched from a 2530 to a 2540 and lost response and gained no horsepower on a 100% stock motor.

Signal Auto http://www.signalauto.co.jp/6_9R34SPEC.html
has a Trust T88-34D on there time attack R34

I have I run the Apex Rx6's twins Tcw 76's with the P20 housing.

What are you trying to figure out? Which turbos to go with?

I'm in the same catagory. I'm currently looking for turbo upgrades for my R32. However, I'm really interested in the design, and what makes the turbo work. I've done the whole "How Stuff Works" site, but I want to know a little more. Any info...

What are your goal? How much HP are you trying to hit? How much money do you have to spend on this? And on porrible upgrades?

All are a factor because RB stuff isn't cheep.

For now I'm just planning on about 450 to 500hp at the most. Honestly I just enjoy driving the car, and I'm not ready to step up past that. Currently I have stock turbos, and I'm getting into the whole tuning thing. I'm hoping to limit my spending to around $3000(USD).

3000 total for the project or 3000 just for the turbo kit. 3000 for the total project won't get you far you need suporrting mods. Clutch alone is 1200.

I can go $3000 for the turbos alone.
