I first heard of these mechanical marvels when the NorthAmericanEagle Made the record speed. The brakes are 2 neodimian magnetic disks one is atached on the wheel and the other on the wheel hub. the one on the wheel says stationary while the other then gets pushed closer, the design prevents locking of the disks. these brakes stopped the N.A.E from 314-0mph in 400ft! Imagine these going into production!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
