Hi everyone,
I'm exhale. Only 13, but been loving the Skyline since 98 when I first played it in the PlayStation game Gran Turismo. Hoping I can get a nice one when I gert just a tad older. Just wanted to drop in and say hi. Hope I can learn a thing or two about cars here so I am ready once I get mine. Thanks!

Hello and welcome to the site. Let me know if there's any thing we need to improve on the site. Also don't be affraid to ask any questions you have about the new GTR and previous versions or anything about cars in general.

It takes some time. Car magazines help. The best thing to do is to get a basic understanding and ask questions from there.

Any magazines you recommend? What does GTR mean? What is the difference between a non GTR and GTR car?

As for car magazines, where do you live? Are you in the USA?

Then sport compact car, autoweek, motor trend, etc. should be good magazines to start with. You could also get a book at the book store or library that provides the basic foundation on cars, mechanically. DIY's website is also another good reference.
