Hi guys/gals!! I recognize some of you lurking over here!! LOL. It's that time again, and if any of you are near O'Reilly Raceway Park on May 8th come on out and Join us!!!

MAY 8, 2010 O'Reilly Raceway Park INDIANAPOLIS!!

Ok, for those who don't know what this is, I will try to explain. I started a "Toy Drive" in my office for the sick kids at Riley Hospital for Children about 8 years ago. I am a car nut, like you guys, so, naturally, I had to expand this simple office toy drive, into what it is today.

It is called: Winged Warrior Performance Challenge/ Street Carshootout. The battlegrounds pit TEAM IMPORT vs TEAM USA thru a variety of automotive challenges. PLUS, there is a HUGE CARSHOW!

It is run by us volunteers, of various backrounds (Just good hearted gear heads) From Dr. to Liquor store manager, and everything in between. First, to race, it cost you $80 (Goes to the kids). For that 80, you are put on a Team, based on your car mods. From TOP GUN (Ballzy full out racers) to class "F" stock ford focuses for example. Each driver comes to this, to see how he/she stacks up with the rest of the field of 130 cars. There are pro drivers, and some who never set foot on any kind of track before.

These are trophied events, for 1/2/3rd place:

1. Autox: LARGE and fast course (4 runs)
2. Slalom: 4 Runs
3. Drag Race: 4 Runs. Then everyone in your class does a heads up elimination, till the DRAG CHAMPION of your class is crowned
4. Racers Carshow:You park your car with your class, so it gets judged as if at a carshow for points.

NEW THIS YEAR: RALLYX!!(Not 100% set in stone, but pretty positive this will go down): While your car is parked in the "Racers" carshow portion, you jump on a tram, and go to the rallyx track. EACH OF YOU will race equally Prepped Subaru RS RALLY CARS around a dirt track. This is ALSO for points, and you get to drive a car in the dirt that isnt YOURS!! LOL.

So after the end of the day, we add up everyones points, and see who stands on top of the hill in your class!! Trophies awarded, money for the kids who need it!! WIN-WIN!! Each Event carries a % of your overall score. ALL RACERS get a Tshirt/stickers, and a goodie bag.

Here is more to see with us this year. We have the OVAL AT ORP this year, where you and the family can go watch Drifters in action (Not homeless Drifters, racing type "drifters") Should be an awesome show!! There is also a HUGE area for a GENERAL CARSHOW!! You name it, it's there!! Plus we will have a return of the Media shootout (TV/Radio personalities duking it out for bragging rights and a trophy). There will be 1/8th mile shootout there as well!! Now how much is all this extra stuff??
GENERAL ADMISSION: IS $10!! Kids under 10 are Free!! That is ALL INCLUSIVE for the track ALL DAY!! Catch the carshow, Racing, Drifting, visit vendor row, etc!!
GENERAL CARSHOW ENTRY: $15 pay at the gate.

Remember, Uncle "Cleatus" Will be taking you "Racers" via tram, from the "Racers Carshow" DIRECTLY to the Rallyx track, and back, so look at the walking mileage you are going to save. lol
