I am new in this forum. I am currently evalauting to buy either the Nissan GTR or the 997 Porsche Twin Turbo. I am a huge fan of Nissan GTR. I think what makes me consider Porsche is the fact that in Puerto Rico (where I live) there is no official Nissan Dealer for GTR car therefore no warranty / maintenance. I would love to follow my heart which is the GTR but don't know how to work on the fact that again there is no warranty / maintenance service in PUerto Rico yet.

Does someone know about a Nissan certified technican that in the case I buy GTR I can contact person and do travel arrangements for onsite services?

In the case of Porsche, there is a certified dealer on the island.

Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Also can someone elaborate as the Pro's of GTR vs Porsche and viceversa.

I am trying to acquire car by end of the month. Thanks.

I've recently driven both, on the same day, and can tell you that I absolutely love both... it was a tough decision for me, but I am now leaning more towards the GTR... I found it more exhilarating, and I love the size... bonus - my wife loves it.

It may be difficult for you, but do you have the opportunity to drive either one?

 

Thanks for the feedback. I drove the GTR and I loved it... need to drive now the 997 and see. Hopefully, I will come up with same conclusion...
