I'm in the same situation as yourself. I will be moving to Japan for the next 4 years or longer, depending on my next orders. I have a bouncing back and forth between the R33 GTR and the R34 GTR. Depending on what you want to do with the car, should determine which Skyline you get. For instances, if you want the AWD twin turbo power to drive daily or to crank up and make a monster on the track, then obviously get the R33 GTR. The only reason why I would consider a GTS-T R34 is if I'm going to be drifting it and if then I'd actually wouldn't even get the R34 for a drift car. Although, it is a gorgeous car, it is too expensive to drift around unless your a pro. The R33 GTR packs so much more punch and is still a very attractive car at that. I personally am going to get a R33 GTR b/c I can obtain it in a shorter period of time since its not too expensive. And if you are considering exporting it back to the states (which I believe is near impossible now that Motorex got shut down), the R33 GTR was the only model to pass the DOT crash safety test. You may have a better chance bringing one of those back, then the R34. But do whatever floats your boat.

*Not all of my information may be true but that is to my knowledge, correct me if I'm wrong*

Just got back from Japan a year ago, had 2 R32s, was trying to get an R34 but couldn't get a good deal on it. Wouldn't be able to get it back to the states unless you did it in pieces. Good luck on your orders!
