Given Nissan's mandate for having as few engine families as possible, I would say it is highly unlikely to see any engine options for the new GTR. My guess is the VQ35DETT or something very similar in the VQ family. Nissan just can't afford engine options on a limited production car and still make it affordable (i.e. $70k).

The Nissan VQ engine family is a 2.0 L to 4.0 L series of V-6 piston engines . It is an aluminum DOHC 4-valve design. Later versions feature variable valve timing. This engine is widely considered to be the world's benchmark V6 engine for its combination of smoothness, reliability and high power output.

The 3.5 L (3498 cc) VQ35DE is used in many modern Nissan vehicles:
