Winter weather performance

Since we're well into winter, and already experienced one snowy storm here on the East coast, I'm wondering if anyone can comment on teh winter performance of their GT-R? How well does it ACTUALLY handle the snow, ice, and torrential rain --> Is it really a supercar for anyone, anywhere, anytime?

I have the "original equipment" recommended Bridgestone Blizzak snow tires on the car. Have driven it every day this winter in the north-east. Today it is about 5 degrees fareheit with snow on the ground.
Car is perfectly driveable in these conditions. The only cautions are the depth of snow (anything over 5 inches and the front lip becomes a plough), and of course, the tires are pretty wide, so the car accelerates just fine, but does tend to slide a bit on snow in turns, as all cars with wide snow tires tend to do.
Perfectly good in rain.
Heater works fine, seat heaters real good.

Actually took it to a winter track event last week, and it was a lot of fun.

winter use

I put Blizzak 25 winter tires on 4 weeks ago and have been driving in the snow, ice, etc. and i can tell you the GTR is a snow machine!

Anyone try driving through this past winter with the cold weather package all season tires instead of dedicated snows?

I tried the AS OEM tires in the snow with my 2009 GTR and it was a disaster. I'm looking for an affordable snow tire package for my 2014 GTR. Anyone come up with maybe an 18" package with a narrower and taller profile?
