Turbo Upgrades
Last night I was thinking about what this beast is capable of once the big names develop turbo upgrades.
It reminded me of an old show car I saw. Take a look at this picture and tell me that if you saw a R35 with its turbos peeking through the two NACA ducts you wouldn't soil your drawers:D http://www.davidpitlyuk.com/wp-conte...audi-turbo.jpg Can you see what I am trying to describe? |
yeah, i've seen that before
although it was in a drag car and the turbo intake/cutout was in hte bumper i always wondered how that works with no air filter? thoughts? |
The new GTR's bottom end block is made out of what material?

HP is tricky. you can add additial boost with the stock turbos and it would be far better than adding turbo's that were larger. the stock ones have less lag.
but not only that... you can pritty much max out the hp/tq with the stock turbos, so thats all you would need. i say this because the tranny can only handle so much tq. about 620ft/lbs is about the max torque. nissan themselfs said just slightly more than that, but i would keep it safe and keep it around 620tq. now if you would take the tranny appart and make the parts better, lighter and add alot more cooling, then you could go higher with the stock turbo's or even get bigger turbos that can handle more boost. to get a perspective how much hp that is, its around 700 something hp. |
it's only a matter of time

The heck with it all, I'm going big. :)
