The official pre-order thread

Well the pre-order program is still vague, but being that we are getting into the official pre-order time line, here is a thread for everyone that has pro-ordered or is going to. So post details on your pre-order or any questions you may have about doing so.

UPDATE: Pre-orders have officially started

I just got word from a Nissan rep stating that the no dealers have been officially registered to sell the GTR as of yet. Everyone is still going through the "training" that each Dealer must buy into. Not sure how up to date that info is but please make sure to find out if your dealer is certified to sell the car before you put your money down.

Yeah, they keep pushing back the date. First it was Jan1, then mid jan, then late jan, now no word. Many have taken order regardless if if they are able to complete the order. Either way, lets hear your questions or orders.

I have a premium edition in pearl white, mats, and Ipod on order. Marlbough Nissan.

Money talks. Hope you don't get outbid though.

I am really happy for the people that are getting the new GTR but disappointed that they are doing so buy out bidding one another and succumbing to the dealerships shady misleading of Nissan's MSRP by the use of dealer mark ups.

Sorry to be a sour sport but for us "average guys" that will not waste a penny more than necessary it is a frustrating site to see.

There are still some to be had without massive markups, but you have to look quite a bit. We will be waiting for ours since we cannot do the big markups and do not need the very first one.
