Importing a R34

Hey does anyone know if its possible to import a 2001 GTR into Canada and be street legal?

Real GTR 06-03-2007 12:16 PM

Only R32's are allowed in legaly

*Chris* 06-07-2007 05:35 PM

why are the R34's not able to be imported for road use?

bonzelite 06-07-2007 09:22 PM

blame MotoRex for that in the case of the USDM. don't know about Canada.

i went to motorex website and they said they were planning on importing R34's late 2004 wich means they have been doing it for a couple of years now, to the US anyways.

bonzelite 06-09-2007 10:50 PM

it doesn't mean that at all.

and that site is very outdated. the owner went to jail.

MotoRex has been closed for 2-3 years now. They only were able to get about 10 in legaly. (Or at least considered legal by the US gov).

Canada has a 15 year rule I belive thats why the 34 isn't allowed.

is there any other companys that will bring them into the us??

bonzelite 06-14-2007 03:55 PM

i cannot give you any more information at this time.

were i you, i would find a registered importer and ask them personally. you must have cash $$$ in hand as well or they will not take you seriously.
