how many skylines here?

so how many people on this board have skylines? how many gtrs, and how many lesser models. i have a lesser model 33 gtst that i use for drifting and beating on. not a street car. i'm located in the usa. the car was mostly stock for the first year or so i had it with just basic bolt on stuff, but its apart now being redone. its got an hks 2835pro s, power fc, fmi, 740 injectors, and tons of other crap like a thicker head gasket. i'm hoping for somewhere around 350whp most of the time, and maybe 400 or so when i want a high boost setting for getting in trouble. does anyone around here have a project rb motor they can share #s on?

anyways, just saying hi.

i made 378whp last night, and 360 something tq. boost was set at 1.3 bar but fell quickly to about 1 bar, maybe .9 bar. thats why the tq is so close to the hp. tq fell very hard about 5300rpm as boost fell. holding the 1.3 bar all the way to redline should bring power up quite a bit, maybe 50 hp or so.

sounds like you need some decent mapping with your current set up - should be producing more horses

its not the mapping that was the problem, as mapping has nothing to do with the actual boost hit. the waste gate, or something else, was letting boost slip. doesn't really matter all that much, we put the car into the wall at about 30-50mph at formula d in houston a week ago. well, not we, my friend. i let him reck my skyline, nice me. i guess now since the car is seriously messed up, and since i don't want to repair it due to cost, or try and pick up another r33 chassis, i'm just going to drop the drivetrain into a disposable s13 240. better power to weight ratio anyways i guess. sucks pretty badly. even my z32 maf broke. everying in front of that didn't stand a chance, but luckily, the motor seems ok.
