Would be interesting to know more about what that computer does and if its a replacement.

Also, why do I get the feeling that many suspension systems will perform worse than the stock units.

i belive they will work much much better! the suspention on the gt-r is to weak, its to loose. its not that tight. even on its race setting the suspention really isnt great.

putting on something better will really increase performance and track times.

i guess that they designed the car to be modestly comfortable on the road, so i would think that a firmer track setup would help the car on the track

but i'll have to see it to believe it because we all know the time/money/minds that nissan put into this

it certainly doesn't seem too shabby with the times it's putting down

apparantly the US spec car has alot of small things changed. like the seats are larger in size, the gas tank is larger, the suspention is softer on the softest setting (compaired to the jspec). also transmission has been tuned a bit diff too.

i think there are some other small things, but i havent confirmed everything.

i see, thanks mindlessoath for providing us all with stuff that at least I didn't know

i'd guess the seat size thing as that's almost a given these days, the US spec gas tank is larger on the 997 GT3 RS as well

HKS will be coming out with with a delimit module in April.
It will be a by pass... so the original ecu will not be touched. I have ordered one.
