Hello all. I just placed my order with the dealer.

I have been reading this forum for awhile but not posting since I never felt like I had anything constructive to contribute.

Anyway, I just placed a downpayment last Saturday. The dealer committed to selling it at MSRP and even scribbled a note on the order form to that effect. I just hope there is no sleight of hand with the shipping and inspection charges for them to get their markup.

I have been a fan of the GT-R since the R32 and am very excited to be able to experience the latest iteration. I just hope this one lives up to the legacy of its predecessors.

So, hello everybody and I hope to be an active forum member soon.

Please do tell where you you got this from and if they will have any more at MSRP

Congratulations BTW...you are one of the few for this price

I got it from Feldmann Imports in Bloomington, MN. I have been told they currently have an allocation of two cars. I believe they have a waiting list about 12 names long.

Do you plan on modding right off the bat, or leaving it stock for a while/forever?

I plan to leave it stock for year to see what it is capable of then fix the parts that do not meet expectation first. I doubt there will be many mods available in the first year anyway. Then there is the whole issue of whether there is going to be a V-Spec/Evo-Spec version also.
