I didn't ask that question... may have also been an Ebay rule - if your selling a car it has to have a VIN. I wonder if the dealer took it down themselves - when you think about it, no good result could be obtained for them. If I had won at 82k, there would be public knowledge of a pretty real marketplace going price for the car. If it had gone to msrp+30 or +40, the negative feedback against the dealer would have been tremendous. It turned out to be a no win for them. Look at what another dealer quoted me:
