GTR around Top Gear track
 

I have not seen the show yet, but saw this post on the EvoM forum.

Nissan's GT-R goes around TG track in 1:19.7
Sick time posted by the GT-R. For reference that's .2 seconds slower than the Ariel Atom and ties the Ferrari Scuderia. Just sick. Clarkson says its more than twice as good as the Evo

Jeremey loved it this time. A little bit of a different story from the race across Japan they did. He did not seem to like it at highway speeds during the race vs. the bullet train. He said that it did not feel special. But he put it on the track and could not say enough good things about it. I wonder if this could show that the car is civil for around the town tame driving but can be a monster when you need it to be.

It's bad enough that the car is tough to get here in the States. Now Top Gear is wrecking their photoshoot loaners.:(

I hope we won't see too many of these in the States. ......In any case, that was an amazing video. I know its only been since 7/7(tecnically) since the car's release, but I'm surprise there really hasn't been much pictures and/or videos of the car here in the States.

I went by my local Nissan dealer today and they are supposed to get one in soon, ill be sure to post pics

On the Top Gear topic, anyone see Adam Carolla's comments on the Motor Trend interview? He definately does not like American cars, has 2 Datsuns.
