Dealers drag racing new GT-R's @ Great Lakes Dragaway
Took these photos at Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove, WI on Sunday. Some guys rolled in with these GT-R's with Dealer plates and decided to drag them over and over and over. Interested differences in trap speeds and 1/4 mile times though. Definately not pro's as they had to be reminded over and over to wear a helmet.
:smilieth If I were you, I would not buy these. Wish I was able to get VIN #'s. http://bordumb.com/gtr/IMG_8698900.jpg http://bordumb.com/gtr/IMG_8707900.jpg http://bordumb.com/gtr/IMG_8723900.jpg http://bordumb.com/gtr/IMG_8725900.jpg http://bordumb.com/gtr/IMG_8731900.jpg http://bordumb.com/gtr/IMG_8745900.jpg http://bordumb.com/gtr/IMG_8750900.jpg Nice glasses :spit: http://bordumb.com/gtr/IMG_8752900.jpg |
I only hope these are not dealership cars that they are intending to sell to the general public. Aside from the ethnical considerations, these may not even been broken into yet.
I'm not doubting they are. Rolled in with dealer plates. Removed dealer plates to race (probably to avoid being in photos).
Plastic still on the seats is a bad sign. Any owner would have removed that. |
These Guys Ought to be FIRED!!
Hopefully Nissan would see this and getting rid of these people. They look like the managers.
It doesn't make sense for them to do this, why put miles on a high demand car? They might end up having to sell it as a demo car at MSRP :p
That's a bit disappointing, I had 26 miles on mine when it was delivered. You need to get these faces out there and send the pictures to NNA.
Feel free to send the images to all the right people.:):smilie_th
If you can find a dealer lot in the area with two titanium GT-R you will have your men and I would defiantly report them to NNA.
At least send this to the guys at GTRblog.com. |
Damm, I can't stand dealers like that! You should have called the BBB, maybe the would know if they broke some kind of law?

At least send this to the guys at GTRblog.com. I was told I should forward this information to you, On Sunday September, 21st 2008, three men in brand new GTR's pulled into Great Lakes Dragaway with dealer plates and plastic on the seats and began drag racing these new GTR's all day long. They removed the dealer plates beforehand though. You can tell they were not owners since the plastic was still on the seats. I had posted about it here: http://forums.gtrforums.com/showthread.php?t=1351 My images can be found here: http://www.bordumb.com/gtr/ All photos had been taken by me. I had attempted to get VIN #'s but the cars were always in the staging lanes, never giving them a rest. They either came from somewhere in Southeastern, WI or Northern Illinois / Chicago. I feel terrible for anyone who buys these. I hope you find these guys. Nick |
Ahhh very nice!
www.gtrblog.com I hope they catch these guys and intercept these cars. Such a waste. |
thats unreal.
Nice job, this should really get this out there. I hope NNA takes action.
Well i just wanted to give you guys some news. I am a Tech at Zimbrick Nissan of madison. We got our first gtr about 2 weeks ago, they come delivered with about 23-30 miles (due to track break-in before delivery). Our general manager has been informed about this(by one of our customers who is waiting for his GTR) situation and it is being reported to NNA and i promise you that it will be investigated. Which ever dealership it is will loose its GTR Status no questions.
Good to hear, this is unacceptable for anyone to do. I'm glad these guys got caught. I wonder if they have any knowledge that they have been caught?
Im sure we will know the second they get busted and I WILL let every one on here know what happens.

The dealership is Rosen Nissan in Milwaukee. The man in the photos with the beard is General Manager Scott Foote.
How did you confirm this information?
