1989 R32 Stock Compressor Specs
I am planning on purchasing a couple used (57,000km) stock turbos from a buddies 89 Skyline GTR and was wondering if anyone could post the specs. (flow, build material, wastegate, flange pattern/size,etc.)As much info as possible would be great or a link to another site would do. Thanks in advance for the help.

Come on guys some of you must have these specs. What flange is the same as a stock rb26dett turbo and what size is the AR.

GTR turbo specs
try this word doc, mate:
http://web.onetel.net.uk/~davidxwhit...gtr_turbos.doc --compressor housing details for the factory GT-R turbos: R32/R33 - A/R .42 with 50 trim wheel R34 - A/R .53 with 50 trim wheel --exhaust turbine housing details for the factory GT-R turbos: R32/R33 - 0.48 A/R with 62 trim wheel R34 - 0.48 A/R with 62 trim wheel the ceramic blades are good until 15psi. it's the exhaust turbine that is ceramic. they tend to break from high boost, not rpms. only the R34 turbos have ceramic exhaust turbine blades. they are good for 1.2 kgc/cm2, or 1.14kg/cm2 (Nismo's recommendation). the R34 has a ball bearing center section while the R32/R33 turbos have 273 degree thrust bearing center section. the internal wastegate spring is quite weak and tends to leak above 15psi; the internal wategate is sufficiently sized for the turbine housing. --exhaust connections: R32/R33 turbos have T25 flanges while the R34 turbines have newer GT25 flanges. --approximate max HP at 13 - 16.5psi on a GT-R: R32 = 440hp R33 = 440hp R34 = 480hp --stock boost levels: R32 - 0.78 kg/cm^2 (0.765 bar, 11.1psi) R33 - 0.84 kg/cm^2 (0.824 bar, 12.0psi) R34 - 0.93 kg/cm^2 (0.912 bar, 13.2psi) |
