I can't believe there isn't one thread about the Z!

the new HR engine is totally awesome. there's been a twin turbo made by HKS and it made 500whp on the stock block. I think the upgraded internals will be able to hold this power with a good tune!!

Just joined and i was looking for one too. Do you have the new Z?

no, but my roommate does.. i have an older one. he dyno'd 290whp on the dynapack with exhaust alone. I had a stock, 05 350z and it was 287 with heavy boltons - exhaust, crank pulley, testpipes, CAI, plenum spacer etc..

the z is an awesome car, ive never driven one, they're not my number 1 choice, but throw an exhaust and a few parts on there and they look and sound great

the newer higher revving engine is fast

there's a 07 z with hks twin turbo pumping out 465whp at 8.5psi!! very impressive! this is on the stock block!

possibility of a v8 in the new 370z?

I dont think they will take the Z the V8 route, but you never know. It would make that front end pretty heavy.
